OUR STORY

In the '90s, James had a fun hobby of customizing vehicles to adapt to his customers' lifestyles. That turned into a lifelong and passionate career. And now it has an added focus on upgrading older vehicles into the modern era and helping to save his customer's money. His earlier professional work at Best Buy in 2003 allowed him to learn many valuable lessons and develop strong relationships with customers. In 2011, he left Best Buy to be a part-owner at ACT Audio, bringing with him his loyal customers, his core values, and his love for helping customers obtain the lifestyle they want from their vehicles.

Hi, my name is Austin Newby and I have been working at ACT Audio for about a year now. I started in this industry in the summer of 2022. Music has always been a big part of my life and I also have a love for cars. I had no idea I would be able to bring them together and do it for a living. We do everything aftermarket at ACT Audio but my passion is the music aspect. Im passionate about everything sound quality. Everyday vehicles have so much potential to be able to recreate live concert sound but you would never know until you've experienced it, and once you have, you cant go back.

Hi, my name is Ethan Deer, I joined the team at ACT Audio 2 years ago when I was still in high

school as a breathalyzer technician, learning as much as I could while continuing my education. I made my way up to the 12 Volt technician position soon after I graduated in 2020 as well as becoming MECP certified, and then took a course to become a certified detailer. I’ve always had a passion for cars and wanted to pursue a career in the automotive industry. Another passion of mine is motorcycles and motorcycle audio. After the first motorcycle system I did here at the shop, I knew I wanted to focus as much time as I could into learning more about motorcycle audio systems. One of my main goals in life is to own my own motorcycle with the kind of systems I love installing so I can enjoy it for myself.
